We stayed at the Kinloch Lodge hotel ten years ago for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As a result, we recently decided to go back but this time for three nights. We weren't disappointed. The location is wonderful, our room in the South Lodge was spotless, homely & comfortable with views over the loch. Isabella McDonald was a most welcoming host and all of the staff were pleasant & most helpful. Our booking was half board and both the breakfasts & dinners were delicious. Finally, I believe Kinloch Lodge Hotel is an ideal choice for travellers seeking rest, good food, and a serene environment.

Truly a magical, beautiful place! Isabella MacDonald is a most gracious and friendly innkeeper supported by an amazing team. Chef Jordan, the food was impeccable! Absolutely delicious and inspired! Rachel, thank you for welcoming us so warmly. The rest of the team - Sam, Tilly, Luke, Mae, Clara, Tina, and Danny - were so very attentive and exceptional. My wife and I could not have been more pleased with every little thing at Kinloch Lodge. We give it our highest recommendation!

A former hunting lodge turned into beautiful and relaxing inn. Great food and service. Beautiful but remote location overlooking the loch. A bit pricey.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay here but we did come around for drinks and dinner! The ambiance was so cozy and romantic and the food was absolutely delicious. We look forward to coming back in the future to try their Sunday roast!

We saw the sign and made the best turn in recent memory. Lovely tapas choices for lunch with an extensive wine list. Staff made sure that the gluten free diner was aware which dish she could eat. The Skye scallops were a thing of beauty. An absolutely stunning lunch experience with a gorgeous view and food. Would drive a long way to repeat the experience.

What an incredible hotel! We had a fantastic stay here, everything about this place is above and beyond, from the food to the service where they were extremely understanding for my wife’s morning sickness. We also loved the fact about how secluded the location was, for some this may not be great if you don’t like driving a lot to the main attractions Skye in the north.

We have eaten Sunday lunch here twice now, and the second visit just confirms that it's the best Sunday roast I've had. It's a historic setting and the food is perfect, generous, and the service warm and personal. It is still owned and run by the family and the staff give the impression of enjoying working there which is difficult to fake. It's not the cheapest but it manages to be great value for money nonetheless. Thoroughly recommended.

Phenomenal location- just at the bank of Loch Nadal with uninterrupted views of the water and the Scottish Highlands- you need a car to get around. Delicious food- nice variety of cocktails and drinks; the menu changes everyday and includes a vegetarian option- the dishes are seasonal in keeping with the ethos of the place- they were very accommodating of my vegetarian specifications and went out of their way to make sure I was well fed. Fantastic service - this is such a rarity in the UK and makes all the difference. The staff were cheerful, approachable and helpful throughout our stay. Isabella and her team believe in making you feel loved and looked after and that is precisely how we felt. We will definitely be back- perhaps in the winter to catch the aurora!
